Ok sooo where to start....Lets go back a ways shall we? Well like 2 weeks back(i think) a pretty bad rain storm came thru and yes it flooded my house. Ardell and I were in the living room and Audi who was suppose to be sleeping comes running out of the bedroom yelling "Water, water momma, water!" when Ardell and I go in there sure enough water so deep our feet were submerged. We were freaking out trying to grasp what was happening and trying to figure out what to do first because it was still just flowing in the house. The water level was 3 inches or so up the outside of the door. We both ran around unplugging everything and trying to keep Audi and Lana out of the water so they don't get electrocuted. We had the TV on the floor because we didn't have anything sturdy enough for it yet. The water was already pretty deep under the TV. Soo scary. So Ardelly called the landlord and I grabbed my trusty mop and bucket. It took about 5 hours but i got all the water up and mopped the floor and got all the furniture back in place. I had thought the water was all coming in from under the door but when it was just about all up i noticed it was seeping under the bedroom wall as well. None of our stuff was harmed so that was good. The fact that the landlord has not made any effort to fix the problem however is not so good....On top of that we talked to our neighbors who were moving out and asked them a couple questions about the place they were in which is owned by the same man ours is. UMMMM...yeah. They took us on a tour around the place they'd been living in. RIDICULOUS!! They had NO a/c and only one tiny little window a/c in the living room for the whole house. no no no. that's crazy. It was running when we went inside and a thermometer on the wall read over 100 degrees. Oh and that's just the beginning. Its a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath with a basement. However the basement is full of asbestos and mold because its constantly flooding(the mold part anyway). Shall I keep going? Apparently he planted a huge tree in the back yard and planted it too close to the house so its causing the back porch/laundry room(whatever it is) to actually start pulling away from the house!!! You can see the gap between the house and that room in the ceiling and a crack running along the foundation. Needless to say every time it rained it rained in that room.. There is sheets of plastic over most of the windows because the windows weren't sealed well so the air was just flowing thru the place which isn't good especially during the winter when you are trying to warm up with no heating system besides a floor heater. We proceeded to tell her about our flood to which she stopped us short saying "Wait, he didn't tell you that place floods?" hahaha. Could I make this stuff up? Then she continued to tell us about the people who lived here before and had the same problem and how they helped them move their stuff out in the middle of the night. As we were listening to her i began to realize this landlord of mine probably has no intention of fixing the flooding problem here. Well see. i intend on continuing to bother him and let him know that we took a tour of the house in front and will not be moving in there as we had wanted before. I will also tell him its because its not up to code to be rented out and needs alot of work before it can be rented to anyone. Don't think for a second I wont inform anyone who wants to rent that that place......especially if they have children!! Speaking of children i shall move on from this subject to tell you all about my girls. they are getting so big! Lana is showing an interest in the toilet now that she sees Audi using it. :-) Lana may be out of diapers sooner than I thought. Yaaaay. I'm not going to push her just yet but I will encourage her and reward her for wanting to go. Does anyone brush their children's teeth the recommended 3 times a day?

I was only doing it once a day but have lately been trying to do it 3 times a day but some days i admit its only 2. They use that training toothpaste so its not so harmful if they swallow it so I am teaching them to spit it out in the sink and to rinse and spit. Audis got it down pretty good now

but Lana swallows the toothpaste then spits nothing. Hahahaha.

Off topic: Check out what I did with Audis hair the other day. It was sooo cute! And she did so good while i did that, she didn't even care and all the rubber bands didn't hurt her head...She must have her mommas head.

my hair hardly ever hurts and I make sure to pull my rubber bands tight. Not on Audi though I put them in and then pulled them to loosen them a bit and she was all good with them. :-) Yesterday was my birthday i turned 27. WOW! It was a good day. We started our day by going to breakfast with my family. We met up at Golden Corral.

Had good company, good Conversation and I met My lil brothers girlfriend. Shes really cute. I like her she seems normal, you know? Doesn't seem like the stuck-up, materialistic type. That's good. So we finished our meal and everyone was on to dessert but i had eaten so much I couldn't fit in dessert...and that's when it happened! DUM DUM DUM(scaary music). A pie in my face compliments of my lil brother..hahaha.
Hello nice to meet you Jessica.....its me Jessie's sister. The one with the whipped cream in my face. hahaha. Brothers, gotta love em. after cleaning up I continued to put the warning out to Jessie that his time was coming. I then got up from the table like I was all mad and all about business. Went to the dessert table scanned it for a second and stalled at the pie station. Reached in and grabbed a piece of.........banana bread! hahaha. You shoulda seen his face looking like what is she going to do?? Hahaha. I walked up to the table and was like "What? I wanted a piece of bread" hahaa. Everyone just busted up laughing. Yes, Jessie's time is coming....but well let him sweat a bit first. HEHEHEHEHE. Cant joke on the jokster....OR HIS WIFE! hahahaa. Really, him doing that just made my day. I have a great video That shows me going from embarrassment to anger to laughing about it all in about 2 min. hahaha. From there we made a quick stop home to wash up because it did leave a greasy film on my face even though it looked like it was all gone. And all you girls know it takes more than a little wash to get make up off. :-) you gotta really scrub to get all the mascara off and until you do you got a raccoon thang going on. haha. We then headed out to the movies to watch Scott Pilgrim vs. the world...my pick! loves loves loves Michael Cera. It was a good movie. Cera an action fighter? Wouldn't expect that to work but it does. The beginning was kinda weird and confusing but when the fighting started it got good. We ended our night by picking up some dinner, heading home and watching Hatchet on netflix. What a good good day! I really had a blast. Thank you soo much everyone for making it a special day. Looking on my facebook account and seeing all those b day wishes was just the icing on the cake.
